The always eloquent Linda G. Hill at lindaghill.com is running a design contest for her One-Liner Wednesday. I thought it would be fun to throw in my idea for a badge.
“ The winner’s badge will be available for anyone who participates in One-Liner Wednesday to post permanently on their website as a widget and/or to embed in each weekly One-Liner Wednesday post.”
As those who read my blog regularly know I do love a line that often twists and turns. Here is my entry:
I like the line~

Lovely badge, Pam! I like the simplicity of it. 😀
I’m not sure why your link isn’t working, but that’s why it’s not connecting to my post. I’ll drop the link in the post’s comments.

I like this, Pam. It reminds me of those colouring pictures I sometimes give the kids in class. I call it taking a line for a walk – intersected areas to be coloured differently.
I think writing is like that. One line might be all we need or we take that one line for a walk and intersect the ideas to build a colourful picture.
Can I vote for this one? I’ll check out Linda’s page.

You say the nicest things! Often a story or indeed a poem starts with one word percolating in my brain. A quick tug and I never know what will pop out! Voting starts on Monday I think.

I saw that and checked out some of the other entries. I still prefer yours. One line should say it all for the title to be meaningful and yours does. I’ll vote on Monday. Good luck. 🙂
