One of the big secrets of life Pam…to realise, after actually facing and understanding our own fears, that we no longer look at others from ‘our’ previous place of fear. Hence removing the judgement built on that fear. And in doing it, it actually builds great empathy, so that we give to others on a completely different level in that understanding.
Nothing is more truer than facing ourselves and overcoming our fear, for the mirror is no longer there, and we are no longer reflected in others, so we no longer ‘react’ to them 🙂
It is a great truth in what I have seen within, and now in others, because of that journey.
We look ‘out there’ for a long time. But eventually, usually due to life’s guidance, we finally go through an uproar that will force us to look inside, to finally see our fear in a new light, see what built it, and in that understanding, let it go.
Accepting ourselves then allows us to accept others, we no longer see in others what we always saw in ourselves.
Great post my friend, I do hope all your mirrors are gone, and much love and wisdom are in their place 🙂
