We celebrate the gifted
The wise and the young
We throw parties with liquor
And songs that are sung
We celebrate occasions
Importance to us
Long standing partners
Deserve a big fuss
We celebrate the time
With each year passing by
A life fully lived
You can never deny
We celebrate today
For what we believe
Only together
We stand to receive.
To my American friends:Β Happy 4th of July!
