Ok. I was going to say this but I lacked the courage. Now you got me. For a long time, I was very nervous about connecting with female bloggers. I always figured, sooner or later, I’d say something dumb. I am so glad I finally mustered the courage because I have met some wonderful women in this community (yourself included) and I have learned, and laughed and felt sorrow and joy with them. I cherish the relationships I have with all the people I’ve met out here – wherever we are. Thanks Pam!

Dan that is a wonderful thing to say! I am so glad you found the courage. The on-line community is just as valuable as the off-line one. And saying ‘dumb’ things is allowed amongst friends! (Yes I meant to say ‘amongst’!)

Courage seems to be the key component in so many things we do. Friendships take time to develop and it takes courage to stay the course.

As you know, I don’t have a blog. I’m a follower! For a very long time I just read the blogs I was following. Never had the courage to make a comment. Then one day I did!! I have wonderful new friends through this community…..people I never would have ‘met’ if I didn’t muster up the courage that day to comment on someone’s blog.

I would never have met you my friend, but I am so fortunate that I have. I can’t even imagine a day starting without one of your clever, thought-provoking quips. You are a joy every day,

I was ‘pushed’ to start a blog and that first comment I made was terrifying! But the result was this: friends! I am glad you pop by my friend . . .

My thanks to whoever pushed you!! They did all of us who follow you a huge favor. Quips, poems, food for thought, paintings…..you are a delight.
