A spider dances
On a silken web
Death to the unawares.
Faint vibrations
Across the threads
Lunch is being served.
A pirouette, a one step turn
An inside kick and pause
Dancing on gossamer strings.

Very nice, Pam. There does seem to be some choreography involved.

I so do not like spiders! Well, maybe a Walt Disney spider. Lol. But your poem is beautiful and I have to admit they weave incredibly amazing webs.

Ahhhh, I always learn something from you my friend. I did not know spiders ate disease carrying mosquitos!! I won’t be getting up close and personal with them, but I will regard them in a different light now. Thank you!
