Coding’s complete,
The DNA’s done
Personalities written
It really was fun.
The creatures are finished
They’re all in their places
From the workings inside
To the look on their faces.
Now we sit back
And see what we’ve made
And hope we’ve been right
And then wait to get paid.
The work that we do
It’s done on the run
Creators for hire
Our job here is done.
Now on to the next world
In galaxies far
I think it is close
At the very next star.
This is great, Pam. I’ve been sitting here since Saturday, trying to figure out what direction your (twisted) mind was going to head. You surprised me, and it was wonderful.
When we write stuff, we do some form of “post-implementation review” – I wonder…no, I don’t guess they do.
PS: I meant twisted as a compliment.

The tree barks appear to me to be guffawing with laughter😉

I saw this on one of my walks. It kinda creeped me out! I knew I’d find a place to use it.

Love your poem, love this tree trunk. Clearly a survivor. If this was how it was done, that might explain a lot of things here on Earth! 😜 BTW, you see some interesting stuff on your walks!!
