Sorry everyone. There should have been a Christmas story here. But unfortunately I am working off my tablet instead of my computer and I don’t have that story on it. It seems the hard drive on my Mac was of extremely low quality and it is breaking down. I have a wonderful individual who is trying to clone everything onto a new drive but because of the quality Of the original it is difficult.
Somethings are being posted, others are not.. Hopefully this will not last too long and I will be back on track shortly. I promise to share my Christmas stories then.

Be well everyone and think good thoughts.
Oh dear ! When one’s personal computer dies it is such a pain to get things back to where you were. I hope you get yours sorted soon. ❤

Thanks Ralph! At least I’m not completely isolated from you. I will muddle through.

Oh I’m so sorry Pam. That is frustrating. Hang in there and we will be right here, hanging on every click of your keys. Hugs.

Ooooh. I hate when that happens. I’ll be keeping hopeful thoughts for a speedy hard drive clone.

Yes. I don’t have one and wish I did. Maybe Santa.

The slight difference between OS and iOS makes a really big difference. When Apple brags about their device inter-connectivity, they gloss over the restrictions between desktop computers and laptops and portable devices like tablets and phones. Writers find out the difference really quickly.

I love my Mac. This is the first time there’s been a problem and it will be fixed soon. I’m happier with my Mac products than I was with my PC. Everybody’s different.

I like my Mac products, too. I would like a little less built-in obsolescence, though. I have gone through two laptops, 3 iPods, 1 iPad, and currently have an iPhone, Mac mini and another laptop! Sheesh! I’m glad that some of this can now be recycled.

I hope your friend is able to recover your stories and other important files. I’ve been supporting folks with laptops since laptops became a thing – this is never a good day.

I have decided that I’m not going to worry until I’m told of lost things. The way I figure it almost everything will be recoverable if not on the computer then on stuff that I have printed out. Yep, I’m an optimist!

Technology can be frustrating. For example Pandora in O Place had a problem printing out receipts today. In the end they took our email and sent it to us. Bah humbug!
Pam, a merry Christmas to you! We hope 2019 will be a healthy happy year for you.
Sheila and Ted ‘s BTW I am enjoying your book!

I would love to be in a position where I didn’t rely on technology at all. Unfortunately, not a possibility. I am so pleased that you’re enjoying my book! And a very merry Christmas to you as well.
