Will you remember
The sound of my voice
Or will you forget
When I’m gone?
Remember the rain
As it ran down my face
Remember the chill
In the air.
Snow on my lashes
You commented then
Like diamonds you said
They were.
Will you remember
The walk that I had
My smile or the colour
Of my hair?
I will remember
Until darkness is nigh
And the universe
Explodes in despair.
But for the moment
Remember it well
And walk in the light
Of our memories.
This is so beautiful, Pam.
However, since I once attributed a whole blog post to you that you hadn’t written, my memory remains suspect.

What a stirring, and haunting, poem Pam. I know I overuse the word “beautiful”, but it is just that, beautiful.
