We’re stubbornly awaiting the day people realize how special we are. Oh, did I say that out loud? Sorry.
PS, I opened my inbox, and this was on top – always the sign of a good day coming 🙂

I think we should shout it from the rooftops but that would be really noisy if we all did it!

I think we’re born the better version of ourselves, but some of us get lazy about maintaining it. Not sure about having wings…it would be pretty awkward shaving or brushing our teeth!! Lol.

I like your theory! My wings would tuck neatly away when not in use, hummmm, detachable maybe?

Can’t we though, continue to evolve and learn more about life, about care, about love.
The exceptions are noisier. The caterpillars that never became butterflies. Metaphorically.

Well, some do become moths but there is beauty there nonetheless.

Oh but we do Pam, at the end of this journey is something so magnificent, it is beyond words. The day I faced it I would never be the same again, as my journey had dared it, my belief in myself to take those steps, and the final understanding to set me free.
That is what conditional is, the cocoon to change us as it binds us…never to be the same again. And that very change forces us to understand by embracing it, face its unknown by experiencing it, and gaining the wisdom to finally crack it open to become something so much more beautiful, who now looks at everything from a whole new way.
The caterpillar was never interested in the flowers but now can see its nectar ❤️

Yes, indeed! I think the enormous success of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” is proof that we want to, and can. 🙂

We can. But unfortunately our life cycle doesn’t mandate it. Perhaps it should. So much for higher intelligence…

For supposedly intelligent creatures we are pretty dumb.
