What do you carry
In the baggage you hold?
How tight do your keep
Your grip?
Do you shuffle and fold
And occasionally toss
The items you carry
Each day?
Are they heavy and cold
Or cheerful and light?
Do you keep
Under lock and key?
Do you share what you have
With those you hold dear?
Or hide them away
Forever?
Perhaps it is time
To reveal what you have
To lighten the burden
You hold.
Each of us owns
Some baggage we hide
So don’t be afraid
To unpack.
I went on a holiday…from my baggage 😀
Which is so easy, you just do what is normal at an airport. Get on the plane with it and assuredly it will not arrive where you do 😂
Great verse dear lady, and wisdom forever in hearing it 😀

Wonderful Pam. Something we all can relate to….certainly me. I found myself in every stanza. At my age it’s time, past time, that I start unpacking my baggage. Not sure where I’m going from here, but I want to travel light!
It was just the other day we talked about “clutter” and I said I didn’t like to live in clutter. Then I read today’s post and thought, ” Baggage – clutter, same thing!”

I’m afraid mine is one of those bulging bags that might explode with the lightest touch. 🤦♀️

It definitely sounds like you need to shed a few . . . Or maybe buy a new bag! I like Retail Therapy.
