It seems all we hear any more revolves around hatred and racism. It was there when I was growing up, but so minor most of us were never aware of it. We also weren’t hearing it at home from our parents or older siblings.
It seems to have become a pandemic of its own.

I agree with you Ginger. I fear there will be fatalities.

WordPress won’t let me like Ginger’s comment but I do and I echo those sentiments.
As discussed here before, hatred is taught. We are all born with the capacity to love.

Thank you Dan. But you hit the nail on the head…”We are all born with the capacity to love.” We sure aren’t living up to our capacity, are we?
Shame on us.

And each time we use our judgement on another, we lie to ourselves and reinforce our fears 😦

Yes, we do.

Unfortunately, those who need to hear this most, won’t and if by chance they did, would expound their “justification”.
I came from a long line of them and heard their diatribes daily. The effect it had on me initially as a very small girl, was to make me want to know more about “them”…

Amen! It takes selflessness and an open mind and heart to truly listen and empathize with one another. I pity the haters. And then I can find myself angry. I breathe and find the peace. The capacity to love is born of our soul. And then I wonder about those without a soul. We are wired for love and taught to hate. May souls shift with the acts of love and kindness. If only a dream….but yet my prayer.

Well said dear lady, we can only be from what we have learned. This conditional world is buried in its fear but still we will break through that barrier and find that love and happiness we always seek ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
