A croc was basking
In a summer pond,
Waiting for lunch
To pass by.
His eye on the clouds
He suddenly thought,
‘My stomach is grumbling
for pie!’
A fish was not right,
An elephant neither,
So all he could do,
Was sigh.
Dreaming of a day
When pies could be real,
He continued to stare
At the sky.
Remember that croc
And follow your dreams,
All you must do
Is try.
Poor Croc and his pie in the sky! 😀
Lovely poem and amazing sketch! 😀

Great verse dear lady. I had this image of two men in a boat going by and the crocodile thinking he’d settle for a tin of canned human 😀

I hope the crocodile finally got his pie in the sky! Patience pays off. Fun verse Pam, and your sketch is terrific!

Does Croc pie taste like chicken ? Good one. Oh and remind the croc when it is time for the pie do not eat the clock. That’s what happened to the captain’s friend…
