Then we have chosen to lay down under it and allow ourselves to be repeatedly bludgeoned into reset. If it were a well marked poison certain individuals would still be drinking. And there would be another sign next to it marked science book burning every night. It could be an IQ test too.

I’ve had that very thought Pam. She needs to release the button NOW! It’s reached the point where it’s like a road rage driver never letting up on the horn. Enough already!

Is there really any doubt? She tried nudging but we shrugged her off. This is a finger poke. Are we waiting to be slapped? 😳

Hey you are so right as people are more focused on environment now 😃

Have we woken up too late?

The problem is those who refuse to wake up.

It took a deadly disease to teach us to mask up and bring down flu bugs and to care about our environment. I hope it is the case of better late than never 🤗🤗

I had exactly the same thought, Pamela. Great – scrap …just thinking minds and all that. Why is such a large section of ‘Humanity’ so sloppy and careless? A conundrum. x .

So right Pam! Just after high school, many moons ago, I shared similar thoughts of what could ultimately be humankind’s downfall with whoever would listen.
I postured we’d be outdone eventually by the common germ. Due to antibiotic misuse/overuse my theory gained purchase several decades later. The over-reaction of sanitizing everything throughout the 1980’s-90’s got us where exactly?
In my opinion those sanitizer-nuts are just as bad as the ‘but-my-freedom’ people who refuse to abide by epidemiological recommendations.
In a nutshell, my theory now seems to have come partly true. I think those who have been exposed and recovered from Covid19 will ultimately be the long-haul survivors and all of us who have maintained diligence and kept clear of exposure will be hammered whenever the next germ/virus comes to town.
I like being right -and what a great feeling, but it doesn’t happen all the time. In this case, I hope I’m not right.

I stopped using anti-bacterial anything decades ago. I thought like you. I still do.

I’ve been thinking that very thing. However, I don’t think the pandemic is gruesome enough to turn humanity around. I’m afraid Climate Change will take that role.
