The most prominent recent example would be thinking the National Guard should not be sleeping all over the Capitol building. They stopped thinking and decided to have them sleep in the parking garage. No doubt the thinker was not fully engaged in that misguided decision. Too bad that there is not a near by hotel they could not commandeer. Oh did I type that last part out loud ?
