Spring is nudging at the corners of our days and I am growing impatient.

Impatient will do. But maybe something a little stronger is called for.

I would scream if I thought it would help.

It’s not the scream so much, but the words you scream. Must choose them carefully.

What do you mean Pam? Is that yellow dot each morning beginning to promise a little warmth and vitamin D for your bones, and enjoy some real fresh outdoor air for a change? 😂 🤣

I’m supposed to be lowering my BP, but Mother Nature is sending it into orbit along with my patience! We still have mega mounds of snow here. I need to see crocus’ and hyacinths blooming NOW!

It’s just dull here but I have resorted to opening pictures on the Internet of fields of flowers. I feel like I’m experiencing withdrawal. I need Spring.

I hear you, Pam, although we’ve had spring-like weather of late. It’s supposed to be close to be in the 50’s today and 60F tomorrow, which is way above our normal 35 degree high for this time of year. I hope you feel the same in the days to come – the air and smells are changing and the sandhill cranes have returned to WI. That’s a good sign!

We are expecting a few days of above normal temperatures but then it’s going to go back down. Mother nature is such a tease!

Well, it’s that time of year and I fully expect to see more snow before April. Here in this state, we expect spring weather to act like that!

Rehearsal for Spring
This morning Spring’s rehearsing:
stirring creatures from their nests,
for the sun has showered all with gold,
reassuring in its quest
to banish winter’s harsh excesses,
replenish with life-giving rays,
bless us all with warm caresses,
promising more days
that zing and sing of joys that ring
throughout our souls and hearts
Genuflect to Mother Nature
for the wonders she imparts.
Just a few words until ‘it’ arrives.
Joy, with affection. xx
