To trust someone or to be trusted by someone is a powerful bond. It’s a brutal eye opener when we have to face the fact that someone we believed we could trust has betrayed us. Worse than that, if we were the betrayer.

Now that you have said a mouthful we can talk about it for a week. or so. When mixed with betrayal even more so terrifying. For often the betrayed are the last ones to know.

It’s been very hard for me to trust. And when I found my faith was something to trust I leaned in more. Humans are just not always trust-worthy. And each time I trusted and got hurt, I learned and tried not to get bitter. I think it’s overcoming those situations that make me wiser in who and what to trust. Have a blessed day, Pam!

Sadly, I was betrayed by one of my two God-mothers way back, and as she was my father’s younger sister, it was even more of a shock. She was the most religious member of the family, which was a worse sin.We live and learn.
