Good morning my friend, this is so true. I hope your November is beginning well. 💛

The sky is starting to brighten but it looks cold. It’s November, it should be cold. But I am thinking wistfully of warmer days.

We’ve had temps in the 40’s this week with a freeze warning for tomorrow night, but I’ll long for those perfect fall days with a bit of warmth too. I’m glad you’re doing well.

Get out of my head! I can express those words in a note, even a text/email, or spend an obscene amount of time finding a card that says it all for me. But say it out loud, face to face, or over the phone, no can do. It comes out jibberish. I make a fool of myself.
I admire people who can express their innermost thoughts in a conversation with someone. What a precious gift!

Thank you my friend! But it is a curse when I cannot turn it off and I don’t have a pen handy. My version of hell.

Agree. For me it will be to say what I want to say to the person I hate the most. I am not proud of what I did yesterday but I gave it my all in berating at a person who made my life a living hell. Despite all the good in the world, I can try to do, I am constantly rail roaded and unappreciated. Best part is, I am not allowed to just wash my hands of it as no one else will take ownership nor responsibility because I am alive and convenient to be of use. Sigh. Yes, I am not a kind person, Hate is a strong word and it is wrong to hate someone but dang it, the wounds never heal.

My friend sometimes venting and saying what needs to be said is cathartic. You are the only one who knows what you need and sometimes you are the one that hast to get it.

Thank you kindly for understanding. It just had to be purged and I am so appreciative that you gave me an avenue to do it.🥰😊

Ah, those barriers dear lady, built on those fears that hold us tight. Scared to be hurt or hurt them in whatever way. But, in the end it is a beautiful learning curve 😀
By the way, I’ve been down for the count with my computer spitting chips, so to speak, and refused to come back to life. But after much resuscitation, it finally squeaked and sat up so I could start again 😂 🤣
Your post on ‘The Lighthouse’ refused to let me comment so I’ll put it here if you don’t mind, it was a lovely verse and I had to say something 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
Beautiful Pam, and well written dear lady. I had one of those in my backyard, but alas, all this new-fangled technology took all the wind out of its sails, so to speak, and they are just another building on the shoreline. I think their should be a lighthouse week where they are all turned on to let everyone share that romantic time, I think people would come for miles to see it in action and what it used to mean to all that sailed the seas 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

Thanks Mark. You are right about the light houses. I see them as silent sentinels from our past and they give me great comfort.
