I heard a gentle whispering,
Coming from my brain.
I think it says I’m crazy,
Really, I’m not sane?
Why would I ever listen,
To the musings in my head?
It just goes a wandering,
And I’m left holding thread!
Yes, I know it’s bonkers,
My brain and I are one.
We share the same container,
And usually that is fun.
But there are times we disagree,
My brain, my mind and I.
When it becomes a battle,
And none will then comply.
We need to find a truce,
Where things are not so hazy.
So, we can always live in peace,
Because you see we’re crazy!
Crazy is as crazy does! Who can’t relate to this poem? If we’re all crazy, I consider myself to be in good company! Lol! You outdid yourself again, my friend! 🤗

I love it when you and your brain get together, Pam. I think you make a great “couple” – Cheers.

We certainly are committed, or perhaps we should be.

I can relate, Pam! I love your words. They sometimes remind me of Shel Silverstein~but all for adults too!

I think adults are simply children who are taller and wearing masks.

Well written Pam, we do ‘wander’ sometimes. As long as I don’t think Spirit is some other voice one day and ignore it to my detriment 😂 🤣

It really does help to know who’s voice is who’s! But if they are offering chocolate…
