I remember watching an old B&W movie of Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, where he asked her what was the first thing she noticed about someone walking toward her. The inference was that she was some air-head bimbo who couldn’t put two coherent words together if she tried. But not our Kate. She answered, in her inimitable style, “Whether it’s a man or a woman.” Shut him down right there! 😀
