So hard to escape sometimes, but you’re right.

We would not be where we are without our past but revisiting too often can be a problem.

Very well said dear lady. Thankfully the load that I carried turned into butterflies as I realized they had given me a gift…and set them free 😀 ❤️

I love the imagery with the butterflies!

Thank you kind lady. When we finally understand them they no longer hold their pain so I hold nothing against them, and in fact appreciate what they have taught me. Hence for me they can be butterflies as I release them. Mind you, I still have the odd rattle (of the past) still in my mind to understand yet…but thankfully its starting to echo in there 😂 🤣

Yes, absolutely. Living in the past serves no purpose.

But it is kind of fun to sneak in for a visit…

Oh for sure. I do love to reminisce… but never with the desire to wish myself back there.

The past can be a nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there! 🤗

Agree. Never wallow in the past and move on. A challenge but it takes time.

There is a balance between the past and the present. Tip it too far either way and it is not a good thing.
