Oh but Pam, you should have seen the toffee’s I used to make, they were rippers. Not too soft, not to hard…but a perfect lockjaw. No one could speak after 3 minutes for their jaws locked solid into them. Perfection! Every time there was kid’s parties I was dragged into the kitchen. Mind you I was beginning to think they did this on purpose to get a little quiet at the parties…and blame me for the mess 😂 🤣
