We spent far too much time looking for the bad in people, we should be looking for the good.

If you aren't living on the edge, you're taking up too much space
It’s just that so often the bad is just out there, so easy to spot. While it seems you have to really look hard for the good.

What Barb said. But I have to remind myself what my dad used to say, “If you look hard enough, you can find something good in everyone.” Darn, he was right again.

He was a wise man. My father had the same sentiments. I hope I learned my lessons well.

Chiming along with Darlene’s comment, my dad believed whatever it is you’re looking for in someone is exactly what you’ll find.
I do try hard to see the good in people and I sure hope they do the same with me! 🤗

Let’s face it, we all have variable traits in our make-up, some more than others. My husband is a great example and is very charismatic (as are a few other people of my acquaintance ) It makes life more interesting…and I’ve met some good souls in my ‘long’ time on the planet. xx

I believe there are more good out there than bad but then I am an unrepentant optimist.

Sadly. the dark side is covered so expertly in most circles. We need to cut through it.
