Unfiltered instant messaging. Privacy, reality, and a whole lot of other things shift to something else. All concealed in a cloud of noise. Babel Plus, the tower has its own streaming service…

Privacy is something I have a vague memory of. Instant Messaging and 24/7 newscasts are bottomless pits of garbage. No news today? No problem. We’ll just make it up as we go along.

I don’t think that privacy even truly exists in this day and age

I agree. Do you find the adverts on TV too invasive and downright unnecessary? I do. x

Yes! I don’t need to know that you’re smiling from ear to ear because you had a full and complete BM. Or that you use the new deodorant “down there”! TMI!
We all have imaginations, let us use them if we choose to.

Privacy? I’m trying to remember…

It is an archaic word, but I kind of like it.

True that! These days privacy is hard as we have trolls, cyber bullies and everything or anything people want to know about you can be found, if one searches hard enough in the cyber space. I have to keep googling self to ensure that I have some privacy remaining. Of course, I too, have to be careful about posting anything about self online too.

It is a ‘fine line’ we walk every time we enter the Internet.

The problem is the news as it is happening is not being reported with a neutral voice. And the instant now leaves no room for reflection and contemplation so we take it as fact.
As for privacy – most of us have given it away, haven’t we?
I love how you make me think, Pam.

You are so right Dale! I don’t think we’re capable of recognizing the truth anymore. I’m glad I make you think. I need the company.

And you are wonderful company!

Yep … disconnect from everything and stand in your own backyard, and satellites can still collect your ‘data’.

I avoid the news as much as I can. I am aware that it is bad for my well being. Even most social media is unhealthy. Thank goodness for blogging, because it offers news I’d like to know.
