That is why it is so hard to love ourselves, we hold the doubt of a lie from childhood, we know no other way. But that too has great purpose, in knowing a conditional love we will then know unconditional love when it is touched ❤️

Ha! My brother and I were talking about an incident during our childhood where a favorite dish of our mother literally fell and broke without us being involved. She never believed us.

Exactly true as I found out last night with my Neighbor. But I could not lie. Truth hurts but some people cannot accept it.

Good advice, I will heed that or ignore the facts and say what they want to hear I guess.

I would not tell them what they want to hear I would tell them the truth. But sometimes it needs to be done gently.

A sad commentary on our society, in’it? 😦 … accepting truths means accepting responsibility and that’s a big no-no. 😦
