Personally, I don’t like to show off 😉

It’s the people that shouldn’t show off that do. The people that have the right to, don’t.

I think in the face of adversity we find the resolve/strength to face it head on. We seem to cower in fear of the little roadblocks, but when something major comes along, we find our gumption and go with it.

That makes sense. It’s unfortunate we don’t find that strength earlier. But some do.

Framing the question in large multi-syllabic words only increases the time frame for comprehending the immanent adversity. Damn now you have me doing it. Then there is always the last minute hope to dodge the bullet rather than challenge it head on. Kinda like why should I get up early on a beautiful sleep in day…

It could be a residual effect I picked up from a quippy source. Or as I oft suspected my mother used to shred a page or two of the dictionary into my breakfast cereal to increase the fiber content…

Those who have tenacity to overcome will find strength in adversity, whilst those without may wallow in self pity and or spiral downwards. It takes adversity to strengthen one and I know it, as I really need to pull self out of doldrums whenever I hear doom and gloom news of my health.

Thanks Pam. Sometimes having no choice is the only option or choice. How ironic it sounds. 😆

Complacency, comfort in the mundane and the dependable. Then comes the unexpected and it hits like a drug, driving humans into that fight or flight energy surge. Like Nature’s drug…
