Perhaps it’s good to remember… Quietly.

Absolutely!
I have a cousin who always shares a bazillion pictures of each event 🙄 – you can cut it back, yanno!
However, when she shared an image of herself on her romantic getaway with her husband, I had to tell her that maybe some photos should remain more personal… she immediately took it down.

At least she took your advice. Some wouldn’t. I once had a friend share a horrible picture of herself drunk in a bar. She thought it was funny. I didn’t think her boss would. I was right.

True. I don’t think I was the only one who said sharing herself in her negligé with fuzzy slippers was best kept private.

Did I ever tell you about the time… Oh, I get it. Never mind.
Good reminder, Pam.

I’m on board with this Pam. Not all memories need to be shared. Some are very personal and only mean something to you. Some may not be personal, but should be kept private, especially if the memory includes other people that you might embarrass by telling the story.
Seems like common sense should be the rule here, but common sense seems to have gone out of business!

Didn’t Common Sense die in a fiery plane crash with partner Common Decency? I thought I read about it in the Times. It was quite the funeral. I hear the mourners included Good Taste and Compassion. Since then I’ve heard they’ve become quite ill. A sign of the times.

Ya know, now that you mention it, I do believe I remember reading about that. Common Sense and Common Decency are sadly missed.
And isn’t it a shame about Good Taste and Compassion. I hope they recover soon. We need them now more than ever.
Great response my friend!
