Like listening to a child and suddenly something so profound comes from their mouths. I’ve seen it stop a room full of people. And so beautiful to hear 🤣

Children are much smarter than we think. They also absorb a lot of what we don’t think they do.

Haha, and yes, sometimes repeating not so repeatable stuff. Like swear words…that really stops a room full 🤣

A short, true story. When ‘im indoors and I ran a small hotel in Bournemouth, UK, an American couple with a set of parents booked in. We became pen friends and discovered ‘Peg’s’ grandfather came from the same, tiny place in Wales as my maternal grandfather did, before emigrating to NY. Mine moved to England. Serendipity No. 1…xx

In a world of 8 billion people… It blows my mind! Wonderful story to have to tell.

We take so much for granted, like water running from our faucets, cars to take us from Point A to Point B, the life-saving surgeries that are performed today, to name a few, we forget how extraordinary these things are.
We live in an extraordinary world and each one of us is extraordinary, but we rarely recognize that. Look at how a simple smile can light up someone’s day. Now that’s extraordinary!

Having been unceremoniously been exposed to the ‘news of the day’ a deep commitment to ordinary is about the only sane choice.

If the ordinary is nurtured it too can become extraordinary.
