An onion has many layers. So have I!
True, that. That goes for taking care of animals as well.

That is so true. Whenever we do anything for someone else, or as Darlene points out, an animal, we take care of our own need to help others. Very gratifying.

It makes us feel better about ourselves and if we feel better about ourselves then we will feel better about others. Domino effect…

This is so true, Pam. This is one of those things people should just understand without being told.

So true. When you do ‘something good,’ the feeling is a just reward in my book. xx

I agree. However these things tend to rise and fall like the tide. And in so many places right now the word immigrant is a dirty word. The stunt in Martha’s Vineyard being a most recent example.

I don’t know about the stunt. I must look it up. We are all in this together.

Trying this one more time. The governor of Florida told a bunch of immigrants who were in the care of Texas that there were job opportunities in Massachusetts. Sent a state plane to pick them up and fly them to Massachusetts. There were no advertised jobs. It was a political stunt to dump them on the liberal state of Massachusetts. Fortunately the good folks of Martha’s Vineyard Ma. took good care of the immigrants in spite of gov. Desantis. Still it was a very cruel stunt to play on these already distressed immigrants. The governor may be up for charges misusing federal funds. He is without doubt a cruel heartless individual.
