As I have gotten older, I have come to realize that perfection is a frame of mind and my frame is cracked.

Some of the most beautiful artwork I’ve seen has a few cracks in the frame. It’s what’s inside that matters.

I gave up on perfection a long time ago. It was either that or my sanity!

Well, I’m certainly not perfect but then I’m not sure about my sanity either…

Flaws are the best! Being cracked is the most peaceful thing isn’t it, Pam? 🎃

Karla, flaws are fabulous! Some of our best features and virtues are our flaws!

Yes! My tagline of my blog is about “embracing imperfection!” It’s perfect lol 😂…ugh…perfection is so overrated. ☺️

That’s it, Pam! Love it! I also love being friends with other “cracked pots”! ☺️💛

Haha, well said Pam 😀
But an interesting thing about that, once we learn to love ourselves, heal our inner wounds…there is no longer a reflection. Can we see our spirit within? But down here we do indeed have a cracked frame dear lady, so that we can see this very beautiful journey. Wise words my friend, very wise words indeed ❤️🙏🏽

A cracked frame is like a wrinkled face…every crack, every wrinkle, tells an amazing story about us.
I love that I’m in such good company here. Like Beth said, we’re all a bit cracked! 🤗

Perfect is bland. Always more interesting when there is a story behind the cracks and imperfections 🙂

Oh, here you are, Pam! It’s my own fault for not seeing the note at your old blog, where your gravatar-link takes me. I’m blind as a bat. (Sorry, bats… no offence intended.)
No pun intended, but this cracked me up. Yep, I’m definitely cracked. Hugs on the wing.
