What genres do you prefer to read, Pam? Although I’m all for using my imagination, and do, I seem to be drawn to writing from a factual base and then embroidering it a little…I find it difficult to completely embrace pure fantasy, but envy those who can!

I read all genres and I pretty much write them as well. But I find I work best when I work without preconceived ideas. Not to say I don’t have a launching pad but then my imagination can go wild.

This is so very true, Pam. How often have instructions been given to the last detail and then finished with, use your imagination… ummm…

Absolutely agree! If we muck everything up with instructions and directions, we lose our ability to imagine! We need to let our imaginations run free and rein them in only if necessary and only as much as necessary.

Ah, I do that all the time Pam. I think about cleaning my house every day when I’m walking on the beach. The ideas I get are amazing 🤣

I think a long walk on the beach is an excellent way to cure your cleaning bag.
