I’m already old (physically, that is…) so I’ll join you when you’re ready, Pam. I dislike most wine and champagne, but quite like Sangria and cocktails…So what’s it to be? We can, of course choose to get pickled by different means!! Tee hee.

There is a recipe for that. The latest variation is pomegranate instead of tart cherries. Cherry Bounce or in this case pomegranate. The normal recipe is a quart of fruit, a pound of sugar, and a fifth of cheap whiskey. We found a pomegranite syrup and substituted and estimated through it. Once mixed the theory is to leave the lid slightly open and age for 6 months. In emergency or extreme need situations the period can be shortened as needed. Potent stuff. Sip in small cordial glasses for a night time pickling session or to ward of colds. Our daughter-in-law who normally skips adult beverages said this one passes the test. Rated 250% better than Dr. Lewis’s snake oil and emollient. Approved by mother’s and pickling enthusiasts everywhere.
