I will take measured and considerate over eloquent any day. However I fear we will be dealing with rampant foot in mouth and short attention span theater for another two years in the lower 48. And the court jester will befoul the room where it used to happen…

So true. I guess we are all guilty of saying things we regret at times. My dad used to say some folks shoot first and aim later.

Yes, that old “sticks and stones and words that never hurt” is so not true… I know we are supposed to try to let them roll off our backs but no, that is not easy. So, since we know it is painful, we should try not to hurt others.

I remember hateful comments that were made to me by an adult almost 50 years ago. It still hurts. And she’s long dead.
