Ginger Snaps

I would like to share something a little different today. These are not my quotes. Someone I met here on my blog has been commenting for a while now and I think she happens to be brilliant. Unfortunately, she does not have a blog of her own. It’s a shame because I think she’s wonderful! My opinion. These are her actual words on some of my posts. Please enjoy.

Ginger Snaps       (another instalment of my favourite sweet treat…)

From 24 December 2022 –  11 April 2023

If we are trying our very best, then we have succeeded!

If we would just join our minds and hearts and hands with others, we could move mountains! There’s no law that says we have to go it alone.

We can fix what needs to be fixed if we would just work together. It isn’t somebody else’s responsibility, it’s OURS.

With so many people spewing their verbal waste product all over the place, no wonder our air doesn’t smell fresh anymore!

Every effort, no matter how small, to make a better world, will make a big difference in the long run. It’s certainly worth trying.

I think most of us are so busy hurrying to go nowhere we miss seeing a lot of rainbows.

Principles are the foundation we are built on. Love, kindness, empathy, honesty, loyalty etc. all fall into place alongside our principles.

So, let’s use our time here wisely and cross that finish line smiling!

Sometimes we don’t need to move the mountain, just change our direction to get to the top!

If you can be anything you want to be, be kind.

Hope is the glue that holds our world together.

Wouldn’t it be fantastic if we could grow gardens of love and hope and they would flourish like weeds do!

Why is it, I wonder that we all don’t laugh more? It’s free. Has no calories or bad fat or carbohydrates. It takes no special skill. It doesn’t use up our precious time because we can laugh while we’re multi-tasking.

We need to feed our curiosity, so everyone should experience the road less traveled at least once.

We really need to mind what we say, or better yet, what we’re about to say!

Thanks for highlighting Ginger’s wisdom, Pam. I love her comments. I can’t count the number of times I’ve just Liked her comment and added my thoughts in reply to her – I had nothing to add. Ginger is the best!

I have asked her but she says she’s just happy reading everyone else’s blogs. I used to follow you and just realized I don’t anymore. Not sure why that happened. But I’m happy to have you back.

Pam, I am truly embarrassed! It’s YOU who belongs in the spotlight because it’s YOUR quips that prompt a comment.

I do thank you and Dan and Dale and Carol and Miriam for your kind words. You all know how to make an old lady’s day!

Ginger is indeed worthy of a blog of her own. It was good of you to give her at least a post of her own. I’m always perplexed by blog followers who aren’t also bloggers. Blogging just doesn’t seem like a very good spectator sport, but I guess it works for some.
