We think we can control time by dividing it into manageable segments: seconds, minutes, hours, days. But in the end, it always controls us.

Remember when we were kids and we played until someone said it was time for dinner? Those were the days.
You and I are on a similar wavelength today. The farther along we go, the more we bring the sense of time with us.

Time is of the essence and always will be. We’re either on time, ahead of time or late! Time definitely controls us.

I wish there was a way to step out of time. Maybe when we dream.…

Funny you should say that Pam, when I was shown unconditional love (up there), there was no time. I just ‘was’, and it was a delight to just be instead of being tethered by it down here in all we do 🤣

Mark, how nice to meet up with you at Pam’s! You’ve had adventures that the rest of us can only dream about. I, for one, will be very happy when you put your blogging cap back on and start posting again. I miss you my friend.
I hope you are behaving yourself, but still managing to have some fun! And getting enough chocolate to savor. There’s nothing worse than a man deprived of his chocolate!
Be well. Be safe. Be happy. Behave (optional)

Haha, ok, all of the above in spades, thank you Ginger. And yes, I do get some interesting journey’s. That unconditional love one in particular was a delight, no time, constantly in that unconditional love, if I wanted to know something it was instantly there in almost like a connection to a beautiful consciousness, or I could go wander to find it. The only odd thing was I could ‘sense’ everything around me was an olive color…but I think that was because I was still ‘attached’ to my body, sort of looking out of closed eyes so to speak. I can’t imagine heaven being one color. If it is, hopefully its a blue…green…or maybe pink 😂
But hopefully blog cap back on again soon, chocolate supply topped up and more adventures to go 🤗❤️🙏

Time definitely controls us … and we have no affect on it. When someone says they wish the day was longer so they can get everything done, I ask, “Why? To get further behind?” Then again, time is a great thing to write about. After all, I think I’ve done 6 beach walk essays on it … and I imagine more to come. Then again, not a surprise because time is endless.

A principal said she hadn’t been wearing a watch for years. I thought it wasn’t a good manager not to keep track of time. For me, when I wore a watch, I looked at it every 10 minutes throughout the day. The day finally came when I took off the watch and never put it on.

That is truly commendable. I have tried. But I have clocks all over my home. When I don’t look at them, I don’t notice time moving on. I like it. But I can’t stop.

I can’t resist looking at my many clocks, nor can I bear to go out without my watch. We do need to know the time to get to appointments or activities that have a start time, but when we lose track of time while gardening, reading or writing blogs, why do we spoil it by then looking at the clock and saying ‘Goodness, is that the time already’ even if it doesn’t matter.

I tried to put a clock in the bedroom but hubby didn’t like the ticking. We only have one clock between upstairs and downstairs.

I think I read in a baby book when expecting my first, just take your watch off when you have your new baby, they will soon tell you when they’re hungry.

They have an internal clock. I didn’t need the alarm to wake me up when I was working. I set the alarm but woke up before it went off.

Now just wait a minute, I don’t believe time controls us. Just give me a second to explain it 🤣

We invented it, we should control it. Is that what we like to do?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yes, we are control freaks. Its our way of handling life. If there was a computer spitting out work cards for us instead with…10 min to sweep, 20 min to wash, 2.5 min for toilet break…we’d go banana’s kind lady 🤣
And I think it was whoever invented birthdays that did the time thing, couldn’t let ‘our’ day slip by 😂
